RubyKaigi is a 3 day, multi-track paid conference for Rubyists held in Japan, the country Ruby was born in.
In RubyKaigi, you'll get:
- the huge chance to say hi and thanks to Ruby committers!! (RubyKaigi will have the largest number of Ruby committers in conferences all around the world!)
- the most awesome keynote talks on this planet, including Yukihiro "matz" Matsumoto!
- the opportunity to understand what Japanese Rubyists are saying in their presentations! There will be JA -> EN interpreters available during RubyKaigi! We will provide a great environment for Rubyists from all around the world.

RubyHiroba(2013 - 2014)

RubyHiroba is a single day, multi-tracked(it’ll be 3 - 4 tracks, we hope) Ruby related free-event which will be held in downtown Tokyo on the day after RubyKaigi.
Hiroba(広場) means ‘play field’ in Japanese. You rubyists can find many chances to hang out, join some workshop, tutorial, BOF, give a lightning talk and talk to awesome rubyist come from all around the world!
